London based studio 19 Greek Street announced a unique collaboration with Saint Martin School of Art for the realisation of a display apartment, The Saint Martins Loft, as a showcase for new residential building. The philosophy of the studio is based on “injecting new life in design projects, promoting sustainability, social design and up-cycling, without comprising high quality and aesthetic values”. For project style of the Loft’s interior, the students features unique design pieces with an emphasis on resourcefulness: Nina Tolstrup of Studio Mama, Beirut based studio Karen Chekerdjan, Dutch Richard Hutten, collective Vij5, 3D pioneer Dirk Van der Kooij, Chilean Gt2p, Tel-Aviv based Studio Noam Dover, London based Israeli Noam Reches, and Australian legends Supercyclers. The result is a fresh and refined place where the must of contemporary design cleverly combined to become example for a new way to conceive living spaces. What do you think about?!
